Tips for Preparation : This choux pastry has been fully dehydrated to provide optimum shelf life & help to bring the best out in your food preparation. If you want a soft profiterole, fill at least 2 hours before serving. The choux is a neutral pastry so can be served with sweet & savoury fillings. For something different try serving as soon as filled for a crisp choux bun for an alternative texture, (its great filled with just vanilla ice-cream). To fill your choux buns either use a piping bag (by making a small hole with a knife in the base of the bun then inserting the nozzle) or slice with a knife the top third of the bun and fill with a spoon. They can be prepared well in advance. Once filled , they can be stored in a fridge for up to 24 hours. Garnish to impress! Have fun & bon appétit!
