Popcorn in 4 easy steps
1 Ensure your microwave is nice and clean. Only microwave one bag at a time. Remove bag from plastic wrapper, unfold and place bag in the centre of the microwave, with "This Side Up" visible.
2 Check your microwave manufacturer's instructions for product suitability. Popping times will vary between 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 minutes dependent on the age, make and model of your microwave. Set microwave on High (full powder) for 3 1/2 minutes.
Do not leave unattended whilst cooking.
3 Listen carefully; Stop the microwave when the rapid popping slows down to 2-3 seconds between pops. If the product starts to smoke or burning smells occur, stop cooking immediately. Do not overcook, if the popcorn is left too long scorching will result which could cause damage or staining in the microwave.
4 Remove the bag carefully from the microwave.
Caution: Handle the bag carefully; the contents will be very hot. Grasp the corners of the bag and then pull apart diagonally to open.
Caution: Keep the bag away from your face and beware of steam when opening.
