Tesco Extra Strength Heartburn Relief Tablets Cool Mint 12S

Fast acting, long lasting

These tablets provide fast, soothing and long lasting relief from the pain and
discomfort of heartburn, which for example can occur after meals or during
pregnancy. The ingredient sodium alginate forms a protective layer above the
stomach contents preventing the acidic stomach contents entering the food pipe
which causes the pain.

Dosage
• Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Chew 1 or 2 after meals and
at bedtime. The tablets are sugar free and suitable for vegetarians. These
tablets can be taken if you are pregnant or breast feeding. If your symptoms
persist for more than 7 days, if new symptoms occur or the pain worsens, please
see a healthcare professional.
Side effects
Most people do not have any side effects while taking these tablets. However
skin rashes, difficulty breathing and feeling bloated have been reported. These
tablets contain xylitol, which may cause a laxative effect if the tablets are
